They don't deliver to my home address but do to my work address. I wonder if I could have it delivered there? It is a 24 hour manned building

I thought they used the card method to take the payment on the 20th no?

I registered my card but it mentioned DD....

I just looked through their FAQ's. It says that if you set up card payment (not DD) then the amount will be taken from your account 3 days after invoice. I'd think this was a regular payment method then.

I think it meant you couldn't just sign up for the offer and not put down any payment details. Will wait and see.
  • Can anyone who's had their delivery already comment on how the items are left, ie are they in a bag / crate or anything? Want to get some things delivered to my office but not there until 9am and if they're left on the street and obvious they might be gone by the time I get there!

I would strongly advise paying by DD rather than card. You can easily cancel DD but you cant cancel a recurring card payment in the same way, you have to rely on the company doing it.
There has been cases where companies continue taking money even when orders have been cancelled (things like DVD rental spring to mind) and have been talked about on MSE.
I am not suggesting this will happen, but i just wanted you to be aware that its YOU in control when you pay by DD.
  • I got my stuff delivered this morning between 9 and 11am. Really happy with the service and would use again!

The items were just left on my doorstep, no box or bag.

    I ordered 4 items.

1 item got left this am on the doorstep in a carrier bag with a note saying the other 3 items were OOS and that I'd ordered on the wrong day...

There was no indication of whether the OOS items would be delivered when in stock or just cancelled and I ordered on the day the www allowed me too, so how was I to know he only did certain days ?!?

I rung customer services but they cut me off mid music after 10 mins wait

    Not best pleased.

had all my stuff delivered, some time between 9:30 and 1:30 as I was out, they just hid it behind my bin. Not tried anything yet, but all seems good :)

I had all mine delivered this morning before 8am, very impressed.

I'm going to sign my mum up for it now too, she's blind so can't go to the shops herself, she gets her usual big shop delivered but if she just needs a loaf of bread or bottle of milk this will be perfect for her.

    Thanks OP :)
