Help with garages?

Hi
I recently spent quite a lot of money fixing a couple of issues ihad with my car and two weeks later i sent the same car to the same garage to have an MOT.
When the car came back it had faild on a few items. However one of the items was that same issue that i had asked the garage to fix two weeks previously.
When i mentioned it they fobbed me off. Whats my recourse with a situation like this?
The description of the work on the receipt is the same as the description of the failure.
Thanks

Did they charge you to repair it first time round for the MOT failure?
What was the details of the fault? what was said about it? what is the MOT fail?0 -
I would ask the garage for a refund if it's exactly the same thing.
Did the place you had the MOT done verify that they were the same job?
If they won't refund, you could send them a "letter before action" giving them one last chance to refund before you take them to the small claims court for a refund.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
