Hi all,
I own a ford streetka and ive lost one of the keys ,( dropped in a drain:eek: )its the key with all the alarm functions on it, i do have another spare but obviously need a replacement for the lost key, i spoke to a ford main dealer and they want £200 to replace the lost key,does anyone have any alternative ideas? thanks in advance.

Hi Sorry you have lost your key, if you find a local auto locksmith in your area you should save at least £50 from the ford price inc remote central locking.

Buy one off Ebay and then get an auto electrician to programme it.0

thanks jplocksmiths i will try your suggestion rather than a ford main dealer, tried to fish the keys from the drain but no luck there im afraid, thought about ebay as well ,i think the keys are worth more than the car...thank you all for your suggestions much appreciated.0

Hi there, I can sympathise, I recently broke my car key, bought a replacement off ebay, then got it programmed and cut at a Locksmiths. Cost me in total £14.95 Lexus quoted me £250 !! Save your money and try and get it done yourself!!
Locksmiths was call Pollards in Chesterfield by the wy.0 -
Be carefull buying used keys off Ebay as not all keys can be reprogrammed.0
