Does anyone know if Natwest charges for copy statements, on a closed credit card. we were wondering if we could check to see if we have overpaid on any charges on the account . and of course oh does not keep copies of things and if so how far back can you claim.

thanks cherry

  • He can ask them but if he does not want delays then he must pay the £10 for a SAR

  • Thankyou for the reply, can I just clear something up in my head, if we request an SAR will we get both copies of statements and the CCA. and how long back do they supply the information from when he took it out or the last 6 years.

sorry for sounding dumb just want to get the ball rolling and with regards to the DCA if we copy all letters we send to natwest asking for the case to be put on hold will this be enough.

thank you very much, I need to relay this is simple terms to the OH.

I had to go bankrupt in dec due to a shortfall on a property I jointly owned with my ex and would love to try and get my partners debts all cleared up this year so we can start 2011 with a clean slate and owe no one any money at all, we can then start to save up to get married and add to my already 3 children.

    thanks cherry

  • The Data Protection Act is for all data on you. For example, last year I did a SAR on my own account so I got lots of information but not my HR file so I requested it and got all the data going back to 1999 when I was first hired as an employee of the bank together with notes on my dismissal. Some of the blanks were filled in so to speak. if you do not receive what you think you should have then ask them for it.
