As with all driving schools the quality of the individual instructors will vary, and I think you'll find the good ones will generally leave the franchises leaving the average and not so good ones (unless you're lucky and get one of the good ones before they leave).
Also look at the forums at https://www.2pass.co.uk for discussions on driving lessons etc etc.0 -
The only good thing about the AA driving school is that you won't get a trainee, unlike BSM, Bill Plant, RED and a few others I could mention.
That's about the only positive thing I can say about them, really.. anewman covered the rest. Oh, the car isn't too bad. Ford Focus is a nice realistic size of car to learn in so you'll be used to medium size cars straight away.0 -
I used an AA driving instructor, and would highly recommend him, but not necessarily the AA. He was the most patient person, and I managed to get a £5 discount per driving lesson by asking him direct. Each driving school may have benefits above others, but in my experience, its the actual driving instructor you get that makes all the difference. I went with another big franchise driving school at first, and the instructor was just awful.
Good luck in finding a good one and good luck to your daughter too0
