Fed up with propping my broken laptop up on a box and waiting ages for it to start up, so started to shop around.
I can't think of anywhere else to look, tried pc world, amazon, play, ebuyer, hell...even tesco.
Tesco's effort was £399 :

Compaq Presario
Intel Celeron Dual Core T3100 1.8ghz
2gb memory
320gb hard drive
Windows 7 Home premium
HDMI Connection
Webcam
17.3 inch screen.
Anyone seen any good deals lately?

What do you normally use the laptop for? Is it just a case of browsing the web and checking emails or are you a gamer? Do you run several programs at one time?
The machine you've found at Tesco would be good for somebody who just uses the internet, email, plays mp3s and DVDs and uses word processors, spreadsheets etc. Not a good choice if you do any more than that.
Also, be careful if you choose to order from Dell as I have experienced first hand that their delivery can be very slow.0 -

I doubt I'll be taking a Dell, heard bad things too.
