I'm getting constantly plagued by annoying sellers!

I seem to be a magnet for them. :(

To cut a short story even shorter, I bid on a game, I won it on Friday, forgot all about it and went to pay this morning. Unfortunately, the seller has changed the postage price (£2 on the auction, now £3) How can I change this back?

The postage cannot be changed on the original auction, if the auction iself shows £3 then it was changed before you bid. However if the postage has been changed only on the invoice then pay direct from the actual auction page, it should be possible to bypass the addition, and just pay the original £2 shown on the auction.

The auction shows £2 - when I click to pay direct from the auction page it comes up as £3 on paypal, I can put up pictures to show it.

Does it say £3 on the actual drop down box when you check out the p and p on the auction?

If not, try a backwards payment, log into paypal, pay for your goods and add the auction number so that it picks up the auction details so you are covered for non receipt, and that means you should be able to pay the original amount.

On the drop down box in the auction, there is a choice of 1st class standard for £2 or other courier for free.
I would be tempted to do other courier but I would like it by friday for a birthday (cutting a bit fine, I know :o )
    I'll try what you've suggested :)

As long as somewhere on the paypal invoice they show the £2 then that is fully compliant with the auction terms. You pay an increased fee for a better service, or you pay £2 for probably second class post. What time frame does the seller ship in, if they ship in 2 working days then you will be cutting it very fine if you opt for 2nd clss, even 1st class would be a risk. If the seller states anything longer than 2 working days for shipping then you might as well pay for 2nd class anyway and expect it early next week.

What I don't understand is, when I go to pay through the auction, the first class option costs £3
Yet on the listing itself it states £2.
I'm really confused and sorry if I'm not making any sense
