I have found a small hidden file in My Documents called Default Remote Desktop Connection . It is only 2kb.
It sounds alarming. What is this please and should I be concerned?

Thank you for your quick reply. I am using XP and have found and unticked the first box for sending invitations. I cannot find the allow users to connect box. Does this exist somewhere else on XP?0

Thank you. Yes, it is XP Home SP3.0

Thought so;) and that would explain it. You have nothing to worry about, but I'll just issue the usual precautions: make sure your anti-virus and anti-malware definitions are up-to-date and make sure the Windows firewall (although it is rather weak in XP) is on.Thank you. Yes, it is XP Home SP3.

Yes, everything updates itself automatically and the firewall is on. I use AVG but don't have Zone Alarm any more as it was making some programs difficult to run and slowed the computer down.
Would you recommend a different firewall? And should I try Zone Alarm or something similar again?
Edit: Should have added that the computer has a bit more memory now than when ZA was causing problems.0 -

Excellent, looks like you take good care of your machine. Nice to see:cool:. I won't both repeating myself here but perhaps I can draw your attention to this thread, if it's of any relevance to your needs (but disregard what I said of Comodo firewall; from particular readings of late, not necessarily on this forum, I'd be reluctant to install it)..0 -
