Success with Studio/Ace/Express gifts

Hi
I think that this company has been discussed a few times on here, and just wanted to let people know of my recent success with them.
I had about £300 of charges, and with the 8% interest it came to about £500. I reclaimed these (combination of £20 and £12 charges) and to be fair Ace responded very quickly and offered the full amount without any silly offers to start with.
I then successfuly reclaimed full contractual interest with other companies and decided to be cheeky with Ace and write asking for the full contractual interest on top of the original reclaim which was around £200. I expected them to tell me to get lost, but I though that it never hurts to ask right?
I then recieved a letter yesterday stating that they agreed and have refunded all contractual interest on the charges at a rate of 44%!!!
This equates to a little under £200, and leaves me £25 in credit:j
I'm off to write to them for the £25 back and also awaiting a PPI reclaim with them but just wanted to add some hope for anyone who is thinking about/going through the reclaim process with this company. Any questions, please ask or PM me.
Once again, thanks to everyone on here who has helped with the process and keep trying, even if we can't get anything off the banks at the mo!!
xx

Hi
The charges mentioned in the original post, are these late/missed payment charges? If so, what reason did you give for reclaiming, presuming you did actually pay late/miss charges?
Did they just refund them without question? I have had accounts with both Ace & Studio and did incur late payment charges but didn't think I would be able to reclaim them?
TIA
EDIT: just realised the OP posted a few years ago so off to see if I can find a more recent threadIf at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!
