software problems with goodmans 2025 tft

hi guys
dad bought a goodmans tft digital camera and asked me to load it on to his computer which runs win xp proffessional when i try to load the software disc it just comes up that you need to be an administrator to do this, his account is set to administator,:rolleyes: anyone any ideas?

You might want to get your thread renamed as the title is not really indicative of your problem.

Are you *sure* he's an Administrator?

An easy way to tell whether you’re using an Administrator account is to point your mouse to the clock on the bottom-right corner of your screen. Right-click the clock, and then click Adjust Date/Time. If you have an Administrator account, a small window will open with controls that enable you to change the time and date on your computer. If you have a Limited User account, you will see a message saying “You do not have the proper privilege level to change System Time.”

Are there any other user accounts on the machine?

yeah he is an administator, there are other accounts and ive tried them all but no joy
