Renault Scenic timing belt change

hi all i was wondering if any could answer my question please.
I have a 2002 1.4 16v scenic with 68500 miles on the clock and we are going to have the timing belt changed in the next 2 weeks (we are having it fitted by an out of work renault mechanic)
Do you think we should have the pulley and tensioners changed at the same time or not?
I know it may sound like a stupid question but i really dont know and if i ring a garage they will say yes in the hope i have it done with them
(i cant get hold of the mechanic at the moment to ask him)

When I asked my garage about changing the camb belt they just said the camb belt - at a cost of £700! Then I asked an independent dealer - £450. Then a renault mechanic who could do it at the weekend - £150.£2 Savers club £0/£150

I have seen a fair few people who rekon that when cam belts go it usually the belt tensioner and the belt its self.0

I was told to do the water pump as well as they have a habit of going if you don't.Nothing to see here, move along.0

All of which reflects the fact that this is an operation that has high labour and low parts cost hence the cheapness of a 'foreigner'. Do have the water pump changed at the same time as the additional parts cost is small but it would involve all the same labour if done separately.0
