Money Saving Pew End Decoration :)

Options
Me and my fiance made this today :) We didn't want to spend a lot of money on flowers for the church, so I started thinking what I could make myself. As we are having button bouquets, I thought it would be good to carry on the button theme when decorating the church. I made it around some "Oasis LeKlip Pew Ends" that I bought on ebay a while ago, and it did use a lot more buttons than I thought it would! I think I am going to make two in red to match the bridesmaids bouquets, and two in white to match my bouquet.

Just thought I would share it with you all, hope you don't mind. Would be great to see other people's ideas and hear how you are all planning on decorating the church/ceremony venue etc x

I love it, think I will save that idea for future weddings that I help at, friends etc. :)

  • Thats fabulous, well done both of you!

Thanks everyone :) no, I didn't do the bouquet myself, we are having them all made by the lovely Liza at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/letters4lilly, I would recommend her to anyone. I have made bouquets myself, but only had a couple of goes, so I wanted to make sure that were made professionally for my big day... I didn't want to be worrying about making my own! x

Thanks :) I think it probably took about 2 hours at the most to make. The thing that takes the most time is twisting the wire for each button.. although, I have seen that you can buy some 'wire twisters' so I think I am going to buy a pair of those, and hopefully it will speed the process up!

    Thats just beautiful.

How much do you think each one is costing you to make?
I guess you can sell them on after the wedding aswell. I love them!
