Face Primer

Does anyone use or have you used a primer under make up? I've been looking at some to use on the day but can suffer from dry skin patches so wasn't sure if it would be suitable?
Any advice or recomendations welcome....

That's weird, ive literally just been looking at face primers aswell. It's like you read my mind!
I have a problem with my nose, it goes red and make up tends to slide off it. Apparently MAC primers can help cover redness and help make up stay put for longer but as they're quite pricey i'm going to pop into the MAC shop and ask if i can try it out with a make over. Does anyone know if they would do that? Is it free? I'd deffo buy it if it worked as it drives me madWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
Picklepick, I think in MAC you have to pay £25 for a make-over but you can use it all to spend on make-up afterwards so might be ok if you know theres something you definately want to buy?0

Had a look in Boots but wasn't that impressed they only had testers for 1 of the 3 in the range and it was quite drying, have seen some on eBay but didn't want to buy without knowing a bit more about them!"Normal is not something to aspire to - it is something to get away from" - Jodie Foster0

Jooles, I have heard that MAC and Bobbie brown are good but haven't personally tried them myself. Have also heard good things about No7 Protect and perfect.0

I have also used the Models Prefer( now YBF )range from QVC one, I like it but not as much as EA one:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
I use the Vie at Home one, and it's great. Also, Laura Mercier and MAC are good, but more expensive - not tried any others, but would happily recommend any of those0

I use Laura Mercier and love it, really good results even after umpteen hours
Despite the name, I'm actually a laydee!0 -
If your skin is quite sensitive, your best bet is to go to Clinique, which is brilliant for those who have very sensitive skin, or skin prone to reactions. If not, Mac is great but speak to the people at the counter who will speak to you, and probably help you choose without paying for a makeover or advice.0

Benefit have a few different products that can be used as primers or to hide blemishes etc.
I've used most of them and would definitely reccommend them, and they do free trials so you can test the productd first!
Hope that helps x0
