Sorry if this is not in the correct place.
I am looking for good caravan insurance but the quotes I am getting are
ridiculous has anyone else had a problem? or have you any idea's.

If its a twin axle caravan then these are the highest to insure . All caravan insurance companies require a minimum of a hitch lock and wheel clamp. There is a good article on how to get your premiums down at caravanbuyersguide in there on-line magazine section.

I take it that yours is a tourer.
Just insured ours (worth £2900) - Caravan Club cheapest @ £61 (must be a member £38) underwritten by Axia (the old Norwich Union ugh!)
We are going with the National Farmers Union (NFU) at £10 more - glowing reports and its a Mutual - no 'shareholders' pushing for profits
