I am registered blind and for ever more telling jobcentre this.
I have my own home with a mortgage and one child living with me and one non-dependent who is my daughter living at home.
They keep sending me form to fill in about my non-dependent daughter and how much her income is.
I have been told that I do not have to declare this to them as I am blind is this correct?
I get income support and DLA.

when my dad registered blind he got a form from the council, have you got one?if so send or give a copy to the JC0 -
I would suggest that they do still need details on their system if only for Ticking a Box purposes so rather than tell them you don't need to provide as you are on DLA and registered blind, could you not give them the information that they need so that they don't keep asking?I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.
