Does anyone know of any USB pen drives that DON'T have a flashing LED?
I want one for my new headunit in my car and the flashing is very distracting when driving!

MSE solution - wrap some electrcians tape round (or blu-tack it...)
Haven't seen one without a LED, but one of the metal-bodied ones (Integral) would be easier to mask as light can't 'leak' through the casing.0 -
the blue own brand play.com ones don't have any type of led0

This reminds me of the old story of NASA spening millions of $ to develop a pen that writes in zero gravity. The Russians used a pencil.
Just cover the damn LED with something!0 -
They both used pencils until the Space Pen turned up.iamcornholio wrote: »The Russians used a pencil.
Would something like this do? Tiny flash drives without lights are quite common these days.0 -
Haha, masking tape, hadn't thought of that! Cheers.0
