Barclaycard

I have been having problems logging on to my Barclaycard account online. I rang the support no. to be told I was using the correct logon details, but because the account is new and the computer does not have 6 months history it will not allow me to successfully login until June 2010. Not very useful to me. The customer service personnel are going to log a complaint on my behalf. Comments on a postcard please. Grumble over.

What a load of tosh, you can utilize online banking from day one.

It looks like the advice given to you was destined for someone who is requesting a credit limit increase.

Barclaycard staff said their computer hasnt accumulated 6 months worth of transaction history, so therefore was blocking my logging on attempts.

Rang back this evening to be told that as my Barclaycard is a cashback one, the programmers are working on allowing me to be able to log on without the 6 months history, it would be fixed by June 2010. As a gesture of goodwill they have credited my account with £5. Shame I cant logon to verify this, or logon to send them a secure email to complain. Doh!.
