ombudsman

hi
i have a claim in with the ombudsman its well over a year, are they taking this long? i went through a company to do this and had no word of them although i phoned them and they asked me to contact the ombudsman to hurry it up.

i have a claim in with the ombudsman its well over a year, are they taking this long?

Depends on the type of claim and what stage you are at.

Are you at the adjudicator stage or have you asked for an ombudsman to review the adjudicator decision?

Is yours a complicated claim or fairly straight forward?

There was a log last couple of years in some areas and 18 months was not uncommon but things appear to have speeded up more recently.

i have heard absolutey nothing from the obudsman, so i really do not know?

we had the highest ppi that could be on this loan, and we are self employed, so not sure if its complicated.

So the company you went through sent your complaint to FOS anyway and asked YOU to hurry things up!! Sounds like you are having good service then.
