tips for selling 2nd hand wedding dress, please!

I need to sell my previous dress.... so I'm after tips as to how this would be best done to increase my chances of sale, and to get the best price, so any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't have pics of me in it, but I have managed to borrow a really nice wooden dress manequin. Is it best to put the dress on this, or get someone to model it? What would sell better?

Should I allow people to come and try it on?

It cost me £1300 new, and £70 to be professionally dry cleaned. How much should I ask?

And any tips for good places to sell - apart from the obvious ebay and local papers?

Any advice appreciated.

I think you should allow people to try it if they want too.
I'd do a picture of both and see.
What dress is it? We might have seen 2nd hand ones around and know what the competition is priced at.
