Abroad for first time....Help,please

Hi my wife and i are going to the states this weekend for a month , we have never been abroad before could some of you kind members give us some tips , on just about anything please.....thanks to this board i have money sorted through Nationwide debit and credit card so that`s something less to worry about many ...many thanks......

If you are going to the States , don't forget the luggage rules imposed by US Customs. You must leave your suitcases unlocked , unless they are fitted with approved locks to which Customs have master keys. Otherwise you might find they have forced open you luggage.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Hi sorry about the lack of imformation . We are travelling from Manchester to Seattle everything sorted with that.
Staying at relatives , i really need information on what to expect at the airport having never done anything like this before....i suuppose we are feeling slightly arehensive about the trip......0 -
