I use a googlemail service and have it set up for OE. Googlemail automatically filters out most spam and I get very little in my OE inbox. Not perfect but the best (free) answer I have found so far.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

Not a tremendous amount you can do. Are you following simple rules about never displaying your email address online (e.g. never put your email address on the Forum like MSE?)
You could give Mailwasher a try (it's free). It gets good reviews.
I feel left out, I wish I got some disgusting ones, all I get is boring Lottery, Ebay, Viagra, Medicines etc..... rubbish!0 -
I agree with Mailwasher. I used to use it myself and it is very good. I don't need it any more though I am happy to say.Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0

A spam-free world by 2006? That's what Microsoft Corp. chairman Bill Gates is promising.
“Two years from now, spam will be solved,” he told a select group of World Economic Forum participants at this Alpine ski resort.
Did a great job Bill, great job.....[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -
Remember the (invented!) Bill Gates quote, that "640K of (virtual) memory ought to be enough for anyone"?
"Prediction is difficult, especially about the future..."0
