Can You Haggle With Dell

I'm looking at two Dell laptop computers:
Dell Inspiron 15 coming in at £499 (top level model in that range)
and the
Dell Inspiron 17 coming in at £499 (entry level model in that range).
Both of these computers have been given a 'Best Buy' rating by Which? the consumer people.
Now what I'm wondering is "Will Dell Haggle". If you phone them up and say your interested in the basic Inspiron 17 talk to them about it for a while and then say you'll go away and think about it will they try to land the deal by offering you something extra.
More up front if you turn around to them and say I'll buy but I want.... are they liable to deal.
If they have a history of haggling realistically what can you push them for, or are they inflexible on price

Phone them up and speak to someone if they don't reduce the price they may be able to do some upgrades, best to find out when they have to meet their monthly sales target ;p0
