Ive been looking into getting my lad a mobile phone, but im not happy with a "grown up" one as he would fiddle too much with and likely call everyone just for the sake of it!
Ive found the ibaby a88, which looks just perfect BUT has anyone got or seen one, is it actually possible to do all it says on the box?

thanks in advance to anyone who knows....

Not being funny but if your lad is too young for an " adult phone " in what situation is he likely to need to use one?
I think you will find that most mobiles can be set up so you can restrict calls to numbers you programme into the phonebook anyway.0 -
Somtimes when we go shopping i allow him to go and pay for somthing whilst im still walking around, or when he is at his dads i ring get no answer or his phone has run out of batt ect. I know alot of 8 year olds with phones, I just want to have control of what he does with a mobile til hes older.
A bit like his digi box has a code on alot of the channels, dosent mean hes too young to watch t.v
And his computer has a code to use the internet so its restricted, and then he can only use safe sites i have put in like CBBC and Nintendo.
I just thought this would be easier pressing 1 button than scrolling to find numbers and im hoping it can do what it claims.0
