Honda crv warning light (malfunction indicator light)

:(Hi, after driving along the M62 today at no more than 50mph due to the restrictions, this light came on once i increased the accelerations.
I came out of the 50 limit, and put my foot down a bit, and the engine sort of juddered and the light came on.
Wondered if anyone had any ideas?
Seems it might be something to do with ommissions?
If anyone has any ideas they'd be welcome!

Lol, sorry, its an 04 Honda crv, petrol, automatic.
Hubbs says it could be anything from bad petrol to cat, great!!

disconnect the battery for half an hour, reconnect and see how you go.

before you do this make sure you have the radio code to hand.

and you may have to re enter the radio stations, youll also have to re do the time and date settings.

If it was diesel then it could be a whole hole host of things, but never had one on in a petrol.

Hi, i disconnected the battery and this has re-set it, lights gone off, but the problem is still there,it starts to judder above 2.5000 revs, so i take my foot off the accelerator, and it stops juddering and goes ok, but then starts again...

Could be some crap in the fuel or a duff sensor.

Hubster put some fule cleaning stuff in the tank yesterday, went for a drive and it still did it, its going to the garage on wed to go on the computer, but til then I'm carless! AND its snowed AGAIN, and its great in the snow, usually!!!:D
