Hotmail Problem - Wont let me open new links properly

After reformatting my pc over the weekend (which was not fun!!) i go into my hotmail account and say i click on a link to another site etc... It opens it in a new window but it doesnt open it properly.

It opens a sort of smaller window that you cant maximise to fill up the whole page and it also doesnt let yo view teh page properly, ie, you cant croll down to see the rest of teh page you can only see what is on the small page straight away you cant scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Does that make sense??? I hope so as it is getting really annoying as i cant do surveys or anything as i cant open the page properly.

Any other site such as this one is fine i can click on a link and it opens up and i can maximise and view the full page.

to update i have just joined the windows live email beta programme and it has cleared the problem!!!!

I am even more confused now as i thought it wa sthe settings on my pc

is this just a rouse my msn to get us all to sign up to the beta programme as i have had loas of trouble the past few weeks with hotmail such as when you clcik refresh it goes all funny and back to teh last page you were looking at not the current page
