I got a pair of black uggs n i snapped up a pair of sheepskin boots in the NEXT sale from £80 to £30

quite frankly, i do not feel the difference in both boots
mayb it will show in the long run, but somehow , maybe because the NEXT boot is newer, so i feel the sheepskin is thicker?

    can somenody correct me?
  • well just hopefully to stop people panicking here is my two penneth!!

I have 4 pairs of UGGS and one pair of EMU's (which I got for about £30 on amazon at this time last year). I never wore my emu's until about nov last year and although they are nowhere near as good as uggs, they are also nowhere near as expensive as uggs;).

For £30 for a pair of boots I am more than happy with the quality of them, I bought my husband a pair of short ones as slippers (as he was constantly pinching my uggs to go outside for a cigarette,) I got him them for Valentines 2009, he wears them everyday and he still has them on now and they have been great.

I am a size 8 and have bought an 8 in both emus and uggs without any problems. I would just say, DONT listen to anyone else on here, wait for yours to be delivered, try them on and make your own mind up:D

Thanks to OP - I think these are a bargain

I had a pair of black Roxy ugg-style (low) boots for about 3 years and they still looked ok after almost daily use (except really hot summer days of course!) but were getting a bit tired. So I treated myself to a pair of black Ugg Ultimate boots from ASOS about 3 months ago: they are lovely and warm, and comfy, but are not wearing as well as I'd hoped :( I really can't see them lasting 3 years! It's a shame, I saved up for my Uggs and can't help feeling just a teeny bit disappointed with them.

If I'd seen this offer in time to buy the EMU low boots in my size, I probably would have given them a try, but I won't be buying Uggs again.

  • Thank you

so wish l had not logged on here now spent a fortune
  • I've been trying to be much more MSE so have avoided this board for months. Just ordered Emu hi in sand, still available in sz 6. I'm hoping the colour is a bit darker than on the pic, but should be nice for spring.

My OH got me black emu bronte lo for Xmas. I love them. I've worn them everyday and they do not have much signs of wear and they are so cosy and comfy. I don't have any UGGs to compare them to cause I can't afford UGGs. My friend has UGGs but was very impressed with my Emu's and now wants some of her own!

    Thanks OP :T
  • for anyone who loves pink, there is a tall emu with ribbons on the side in that shade or orchid as what they call in emu. they look cute ;)

I've read that in stingers you hould buy the size you are but in the bronte get a size smaller so if those reviews are correct looks like you've made the right order Troythecat.

I keep being tempted by the hi's but I'll resist, I think I should see how the lows fit first

Hi I've got a 7 in stingers an 7 in brontes but the brontes I could do with a 6 in, mine are well worn now, stingers are much better quality though.
a please & thank you is all it takes
