I need a new exhaust for my Golf GTi. Where do I buy a cheap but perfect one? I do not fancy drivng around, is noisy and am trying to pack my house. According to OH I need the first bit after the catalytic converter.
Any help?
Any 95% off Golf exhausts anywhere? Will check the sales board.
Thanks in advance,

from your post i would suspect that you only need a have exhaust system for you car. i would suggest the obvious like quick fit etc. but it is always worth checking you local garage as these more often than not will work out cheaper. Then you have custom exhaust places who will make theit specifically for you car and these normally come with a lifetime warranty.0

Local garage have caused more problems with the car than fixed. Never taking it back there."You can if you think you can."

GSF car parts or Euro Car parts then get a garage to fit it for you.Happy chappy0

If you intend to keep the car for a goood couple of years it may be worth looking at a stainlees steel exhaust which may cost more but tend to last forever. The cost in my experience is about £100 more than normal exhaust but you don't replace them every 2-3 years.0

I had a custom Stainless Steel system on my previous car and it cost £220 total, that was with Longlife Exhausts.Happy chappy0

have a quick look in the autotrader or even yellow pages and you should fine some where.
If you want europarts just go to their web page0 -
I found my local motorfactors to be about half the price of quick fit etc, a normal garage would probably be cheaper to fit it than the tyre and exhaust places, although cheaper still would be to fit it yourself/get a freind to do it.0

Longlife Exhausts have a number of franchises around the country, check something like yell.com to see if theres one near you.0

Longlife Exhausts are based very close to the Wotton junction on the motorway. ie: just past the Michaelwood services on the way to Bristol.
Gloucester scrap yards:
-Cleave salvage: computerised, efficient, but not cheapest
-Twigworth breakers: all shelved, find it yourself, quite cheap
-Harry Bucklands: big field full of cars, remove it yourself, very cheapHappy chappy0
