Apple Replacing Hard Drives on Old MacBooks for Free

If you bought a MacBook sometime between 2006 and 2007, your gear could be eligible for a free hard drive replacement courtesy of Apple. Apparently certain MacBooks of that generation shipped with defective drives—hence the free replacement thing. The program runs until August 15th or three years after you bought your MacBook (whichever lasts longer).
