Comments

  • For £449 at dixons you get a D50, a 18-55 lens, a 55-200mm lens, a 1gb Lexar SD card, and a Lowpro bag. You get this price buy using a voucher code - £50 off £500 from the voucher forum, and by buying with an egg money card to get another 10% off. (make sure you use the link from the egg money website - see the post in the vouchers forum)

    Hope this helps someone.

Not strictly relevant but ‘spect someone can help

I’ve got a 401 with additional sigma lens, I want to go digital. Any comments on “can I use the old lenses on a digital body?”

    Cheers

Just to round this off somewhat the D80 is now here:

although it will take some time to reach the shops, the fact that it's a D50 sized D70 replacement suggests there it may be worth watching prices on both older models - there may be some good deals.
