we sat in yates bar opposite the met at bury and watched the queue start to take shape

we walked over at about 7pm as they opened the doors

we went in side and they then allocated the seats. we were sat in row e so there were about 40 in front of us in the queue

we then left the theatre, back to yates and went over at 730 in time for the show which lasted about 30 minutes first half and 35/40 second

    show finished about 940

I've just managed to get 4 tickets for this coming saturday. Can i ask, we are thinking of going to Automatic next door for food then going to The Met when doors open at 7pm then returning to Automatic to finish drinks etc. Would I be able to go over on my own to collect tickets with my card and proof of ID, they wouldn't need all 4 of us to go would they?
Only asking as taking my elderly Dad and don't want to have him traipsing about to get tickets.

    Thanks in advance
  • yesh that would be fine Julzdyer

As long as the person that booked the tickets goes, and presents their bank card and proof of id, no one else is needed.

Oh and the food at the Automatic is brill as well!!

Whatever you do, don't go in to Yate's. OMG. Well, do if you want a laugh. I'd forgotten how run down they can be. Such a contrast to the Automatic!

If anyone is after another ticket for the gig in Bury tonight, it looks like I've got a spare one, just after my money back for it. Message here if you're interested

Great show last night, started about 8pm and ended at around 9.50pm, whever you sit you feel really close to the stage, had a few drinks and a meal in the Wetherspoons which was surprisingly very good and extremely cheap, thanks again to OP.
  • Very short notice but i've got 2 spare tickets for tonight at bury.
    Face value £16 each.
First person to send me a private message with their mobile number can have them.

I know, dont want to sound snobbish, but it was chavvy and the majority of people were swearing quite loudly. It felt like a pub that you may find in a train station!

We werent allowed into the automatic as my oh was wearing trainer /plimsole type shoes. LOL! Still it was an experience and who cares cos you are gonna see Peter Kay!!! Just dont go afterwards!! End on a high!
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷
