Hey all,
has anyone been contacted by a company claiming to be an "Energy Supplier" from the number 0845 155 0228?
ive been getting calls from them at least once a week for the past month. As soon as i start asking questions as to how they got my number they hang up. Did a google search on the 0845 number and there have been lots of complaints about them. Sounds very much like a scam where they try to get your personal details or get you to call them back on their costly 0845 number
Is there anything i can do to get them to stop? any complaints department for dodgy companies?
Thanks

Yep, and free on most providers inclusive free calls now too.
So if you have an evening and weekend plan with BT it wouldnt cost anything to phone, even if you havent you could just wait until the weekend to phone it back.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
