unable to make credit card payments help needed

in Credit cards
i have a halifax credit card and owe £1,000, no card repayment protection, i am now unable to make the minimum payments they ask for each month,can i ask for reduced payments as i am in receipt of disability allowance and housing benefit?

You may be able to ask for reduced payments but this will damage your credit record for some years to come.0

how much is your minimum?
i wouldnt have thought it would be much more than £20 a month unless you are incurring charges do you have other debts it might help you to look on debt-free wannabe forums for advice on talking to cccs or paypal sorry cant help you much but better to sort it out sooner so not to get charges0 -
