How often do you switch and do you profit from it?

All part of a package, Shomk. Cashback, low tariffs, super dooper insulation, no profligate use, cross subsidize, even do some stoozing if you have the nerve.
Grow you own food, never need to shop. My net energy costs last year was £40, mind you get Winter Fuel Allowance. Cashback was £87.50, could have, should have gone onto Eon another £70.
Someone did forecast that the power companies would bring in cancellation charges which has happened. But whilst you have competition . always a chance for some commission.0 -
Well just looking at Last year:
Feb 09 Switched to npower with a doorstep agent (Neighbour who worked for them I was happy to pass commission to), collected £30 M&S vouchers.
May 09 Switched from npower standard tariff to npower online tariff via cashback site, collected £40 cashback.
Feb 2010 Received £100 npower discount for being with them a whole year and paying by DD.
Feb 2010 Switched to scottish energy grabbing £120 cashback.
I'd say I don;t profit from it but keep my energy bills down to about £20 per month for both this way.
Not have a £50 exit fee till next year but so long as switching cashback/savings at least match that I'll not hesitate to switch again0
