Yet another car I'd see in a car park and wonder "Why?" . Maybe more of the dire than the bland.
And I drive a repmobile (of which a few of the cars around it in said car park would be :rotfl: )0 -
" Bland " or not, the Sirion is a full 5 door / 5 seater model based on Toyota technology, that comes with a 5 year warranty, is roomy and well equipped.0

So presumably the Continental importers will be similarly struggling?0 -
Don't know about Daihatsu but if Nissan continue designing vehicles (can't call them cars) like this http://www.nissan.co.uk/#vehicles/city-cars/cube/key-figures then they'll be joining them.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

- something they know buyers wont stomach.
Perhaps not in the short-term but unless things improve this will be the new reality.
Almost exactly a year ago was probably the cheapest cars will ever be in real terms (in my life time). I think there are probably still a few deals to be done but prices are on the rise.0 -
Good job we're all different, the links to Materia and Cube above show me cars that look practical, quirky and different just like people really.
There's loads of standard cloned hatchbacks for cloned people, Daihatsu and Subaru haven't until recently made cars for the majority, they made cars for individuals who don't mind nay maybe enjoy being different.
Subaru must be counting the cost of trying to appeal to mainstream with their new Imprezza just another boring hatchback (a FocusGolfAstra308 lookalike), the sightings of which are extremely rare.0 -

Of course Nissan builds cars outside Japan so is better placed than some others.0
