Possible Virus & Hijackthis program

From reading a previous post regarding a virus through Adobe error, I think I may have experienced something similar but mine came through web pages opening saying lots of things were infected. I am follow the advice given and have run Malwayrebytes - log below:-

C:\Users\O'NEILL\AppData\Roaming\upd32.exe (Trojan.Dropper) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

Have gone on to download Hijack this as advised but my internet security is blocking it saying it's a potentially dangerous program. It's attempting to launch HijackThis[1].msi, am I ok doing this, obviously don't want to make matters worse.

    The filename should be HJTInstall.exe

    The file is okay, this is a Beta release (still being tested) so may not be a stable version. I've been running the beta release with no problems.

    Spybot is okay too.
