Natwest Credit cards

Hi,


Does anybody know as im a tad confused and its early and not had my quota of coffee yet ;). Can you attempt to reclaim credit card charges when the account has been sent to a DCA.

  • Yes you can but make sure the DCA puts your account on hold while you do so and state that only when you have resolved the dispute will you speak with them with regards to payments plans. Reclaim all charges including the £12 ones.

    thanks for you reply. to cut a long story short, we requested a copy of the CCA and where supplied with the usual response of a copy of the t&c's at that time and so forth. I was going to request a SAR but have not got round to doing this as yet. can we do both ?? ie start reclaiming any charges. and the DCA state that they dont own the debt just chasing on behalf of nat west. and do we need to send £10 with each letter because it will have to be postal orders as we have no cheque book.

    yes you can do both. I stand by the previous advice re dealing with the DCA
