Linda - why not ask / email your tutor to ask for a face-2-face meeting to discuss your essay; explain what research you'd done and how long you spent doing it and how difficult you found it. referencing / in house styles are a pain as Arts degrees tend to use alphabetic referencing (mainly from textbooks) whereas scienes use numeric referencing (mainly from journals) and the two styles are VERY different. The one thing that I find students do is send it without doing a spell check, the other thing to do is get someone to read through it to pick up on grammar / flow etc. The next one will be easier!

  • I'll have finished all my assignments and be clearing out ready to leave by June, so I should have some floor space if people wanna bring sleeping bags to mine. It's about 20 mins walk to the Bath Uni bus as well.

    Linda,
Some lecturers are SUPER pedantic on this. Sometimes they seem really unreasonable.

So the Bath RFL is on the Sunday? What time?

It might be a problem for us - DD has to be in school the next day, I'm off.
