Electrician survey- didn't uncover a problem

    So it's two rooms and not one. It could be the feed going into the living room that is loose and the living room and storage room may be at the end of the circuit.
  • I think he could have investigated the fault as you had pointed it out to him

    Reading the post I have a feeling there is a loose connection at a switch, behind a light, at a joint box.

    Yes you were right!

    Anyway he came and fixed it for free- it was the kitchen light which it was fed off from and there was a dodgy connection in there.

    as I keep reminding the GF when I do something right "see, I am not totally useless" lol she hates it ;p
