hi there,Does anyone know if someone runs up debts and ends up trashing their credit score in the UK, could/would this affect future credit applications if the individual moved overseas?.Thanks in anticipation.

Nowadays with computer technology and global accounts, depending upon the amount involved, it is easy for the debt to be sold on and to find yourself chased for it in a new country. Unless you move to somewhere like the Far East that is.
A friend of mine moved to the US and they got chased for it there.
Note
Sorry I just re read your question. It doesn't affect any future overseas credit applications unless they do pursue you and catch up with you after a while.0 -
So i presume then applications for credit and searches etc, will not be reported on a uk credit report? and searches on a person new to a country would simply be looking into an empty credit report?seems like a somewhat flawed system, if all it takes is to jump from country to country.0
