budget for an IVA
Hi thanks to all the people who post the help on here helped me lots in the last few days.
Me and my partner have debts totalling about 35k and have been missing payments left right and centre:embarasse we need to do something about this as soon as possible to stop getting into a further mess. Have just been on the CCCS website and filled in some details and I have made our budget of what we pay each month as below,
Monthly Expense Details
Mortgage................................ 0
Secured/HP loan repayments.............. 80
Rent.................................... 515
Management charge (leasehold property).. 0
Council tax............................. 85
Electricity............................. 50
Gas..................................... 50
Oil..................................... 0
Water rates............................. 25
Telephone (land line)................... 11
Mobile phone............................ 60
TV Licence.............................. 15
Satellite/Cable TV...................... 0
Internet Services....................... 15
Groceries etc. ......................... 300
Clothing................................ 25
Petrol/diesel........................... 130
Road tax................................ 10
Car Insurance........................... 75
Car maintenance (including MOT)......... 10
Car parking............................. 9
Other travel............................ 0
Childcare/nursery....................... 0
Other child related expenses............ 0
Medical (prescriptions, dentist etc).... 7
Pet insurance/vet bills................. 50
Buildings insurance..................... 0
Contents insurance...................... 9
Life assurance ......................... 0
Other insurance......................... 0
Presents (birthday, christmas etc)...... 0
Haircuts................................ 0
Entertainment........................... 0
Holiday................................. 0
Emergency fund.......................... 10
Gym..................................... 0
Total monthly expenses.................. 1531
this leaves us with around 200 pound surplus each month which we have been using to pay one of our loans, but that still has 4 years remaing on it so it seems stupid paying one company and having another 6 people constantly chasing us for money.
Do the above expenses seem resonable to people with a better knowledge of this than I do, the pet section is high as we have 2 pedigree cats and the £50 includes insurance and pet food. Was hoping to speak to someone form the CCCS but the lines have closed now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
