Good riddance from the posts I have read about them.0

They will truly be in the " RED " now.:)0

Not a big loss for learners, but I feel for all those who got sucked in by the franchise route. I think I recall them being on watchdog or some such as they encourage people who are not good drivers to pay for training and sit exams to become instructors and milk them for loads. Those that pass then find that they cant make anywhere near the expected income and end up with a car leased from RED. I think the model prayed on those desperate for self employment rather than focusing on offering quality instruction0

They won't be missed. It's their misleading advertising that contributed to the driver training industry becoming flooded with instructor "wannabes" which hit a lot of established driving instructors hard in the pocket.
For the record, there is no shortage of driving instructors - you won't earn £30k+ a year working "as much or as little as you like" and you certainly won't "be your own boss" when the bailiffs are at your door.
If you're passionate about driver training and can sell sand to the arabs, then by all means follow your dream. If you've recently been made redundant and want to spend your redundancy money on a "get rich quick" scheme, go buy a couple of thousand lottery scratchcards.0 -
Sorry to be th bearer of bad news guys but it looks like some investment fund is buying into them. No doubt they will start their ads again soon. How do we get Martin to highlight what a con these guys really are on his main site.0

Sorry but if people see the "get rich quick" adverts and are taken in I don't have much sympathy. If there was that much money in it it wouldn't be a self-employed franchise scheme, and you wouldn't have to give them your own money up front.
I agree - it dosent take much to do the maths and realise that at the current rate for lessons you would need to sell a hell of a lot of hours to cover the cost of the car / insurance / fuel before you even make any profit.
My issue with them is that they get people to pay them to train up as instructors when they are pretty bad drivers and will never meet the required standard - often milking people of redundancy payouts / savings to achive an unrealistic dream of self employment0 -
Those horrible ads are back on the telly0
