Hi,
I have a blog on blogspot.com I use it to showcase my crafts with a link to my etsy shop. I have just purchased my 'ideal' domain name but I don't want to set up a website beacause I find it easy selling my crafts at etsy.com. Is there any way I can re-route my blog to my domain name to give me more google exposure or am I talking nonsense?
any advice greatly apreciated

You can forward your domain name to the blog address.
EG, if you blog address is: http://www.myblog.com/myblog
then you can make your new domain point directly to the link, which means that whenever you type your domain name, it will go to the blog address.
You can set this up in your control panel of the company you bought the domain from.0 -
yup. I use telivo.com to forward to a website of mine, really easy to use control panel, just put in the address to forward to, and you can mask the new address if you want to.
with telivo it costs £5 for .co.uk, .me.uk or .org.uk
or £15 for .com, .net, .org etc.
i dont know about the .com group, but £5 for .co.uk is good.... or at least it was the best i could find when i was looking for mine.0 -
That should be possible. I have a couple of domains from 1&1 Internet who charges £1.99 exc VAT per year for .uk domains. You can redirect to somewhere else if you want.0
