This question is on behalf of my mum and dad.
They have a Panasonic dvd recorder (model - DMR-E55EB/EBL) which has recently stopped working. They had several disks with footage of their grandchildren which had not been finalised and the original material has been deleted from the camcorder.
I have contact Panasonic who are not interested in helping or advising. I have contacted someone to fix the dvd player but they wanted in excess of £200 which is too expensive. The rather more helpful chap at the repair shop told me that I might be able to find some software on line which could help me to retreive the disks. I have spent a good part of today reading through tons of info and I have downloaded a trial with Isobuster but when I put the disk in my laptop it says no data found.
Just wondering if this is far too technical for a biginner like me and I'm not sure how to proceed. My mum is gutted that she has lost the only footage of the grandchildren and I would like to help her out. If I am unable to do this myself does anyone know of someone who charges for this kind of service or someone who is recommended.
Thanks for reading this long post. I hope someone can help.
