Employment Contract Cut Short

Hi there.

I have been on a 6 month contract since 23rd Nov.09. Due to finish 22nd May 2010. Was just told yesterday my contract has been ended due to a downturn in business and I have been given a week's notice. What (if any) rights do I have?

Thanks.

If you started work on 23rd November 09, none.

Can you take the leave during your notice, or can they tag it on the end? Otherwise they should pay you for it.
