using an upturned yogurt pot full of straw or paper from your shredder. Place this on a small cane stuck in the pot overnight and the next morning the pot will be full of them. Turn the pot the right way up take outside and light a match in the paper. No chemicals and cheap. Doesn't work on grubs but eventually with no adults there will be no grubs!
I use this technique around my sweetcorn each year to stop a pest buildup.
