Has everyone else Halifax Guarented Overdaft Now Gone

I only just notice but when I log on to my overdaft rate, the guarentte limt has now gone. it was £1900 but not it does not display anything just says enter the amount you wish to increase the amount to and press submit, also loads of info now in a scroll down box, I was just woundering if it was the same for everyone else.

Thanks

Matt x

  • Yep, my guaranteed overdraft has very recently disappeared on my Halifax Current Accounts.

My guarenteed is now the limit I have... whereas before it used to be well above

Mine has gone with the wind

I wonder why some have had the perk taken away?

Same for me, it's not there anymore. It's a bit annoying as when your overdraft gets renewed you can tell if it's going to stay the same or not. Also I like to decrease my overdraft limit every so often and I don't know whether or not it will accept it (it wouldn't have done it instantly if the guaranteed limit dropped to 0)

I think it has gone for everyone. As has the display of interest rates within savings accounts.

This post may give a clue as to what is happening.

What happens if you happen to request an amount above the hidden approved limit? Does it then reveal what the limit is?
