Boots next voupon - No7

I quite fancy the moisturising gloves someone mentioned last time they did a NO 7 voucher. So I might get some of those and some brushes this time around.
Although I could actually do with a new blusher too
Might actually get something worthwhile this time around then! One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
That's what I always think when someone talks about getting, say, 24 quid of merchandise for 11 quid because it was 342 and they had a voucher -- I'm thinking they probably got about 11 quid of merchandise for 11 quid, and the store still made a profit. There's no way Boots is giving a "free" third item or a "free" gwp, or failing to allow for a discount on a voucher that doesn't require a minimum spend to use! Oops, I mean voupon, lol.
After pharmacy and healthcare, one of the biggest slices of the Boots profit pie is on No7. The stuff, albeit well-made of course, is still dramatically marked up. If you like the stuff, great, and you actually want/need it, even better! However, Boots thrives on this "I'll get it because it's only £1.50, etc..." mentality - even the wipes, once £5 is deducted still makes the company a surprisingly un-small profit.
I'm not wanting to urinate on anyone's bonfire - I'm a hardened Bootser myself (staff discount implanted that in me). I just want to try and promote a bit of cynicism I suppose!0 -
I saw n07 foundation on clearance at £7 today and no7 blusher brushes on clearance at £4. I was in spending my last skinnies on olay wash for 99p so i hope the no7 bargains are still available on wednesday.0

Theres been a "last chance to buy" NO7 stand in one of my local stores for at least a month, with quite a few bits (foundation, compacts, eyeshadow pallettes etc) at around the £7 mark - so £2 with a voupon. None of it has shifted so far, from what I can see

I thought that must be the case! They are great wipes and I don't mind paying 1.50 for them, but it's not really a deal -- it's the correct price that still allows for a tidy profit, lol. The poor people who don't realize it's all massively over-priced to allow for sales and coupons really get ripped if they buy just one no7 item with no coupon. Good thing we have MSE to prevent that.
Of course, the downside is we can get whipped up into thinking something is more of a bargain than it is just because there's a coupon -- I do recall a lady who said she bought the no7 wipes at 1.50 after voucher for her husband to use to wipe his hands and was quite pleased with what a bargain it was. Fortunately other Bootsers pointed out that wasn't the best deal she could get on hand wipes, lol!0 -
Excellent, time to stock up on some more loose powder and concealer
Not buying much in Boots these days, generally just these two items plus an Essentials curly hair mousse, and everything else comes from the supermarkets (or occasionally eBay - I always buy my P&P serum there now, even when the £5 voucher is around I can always find it cheaper on eBay!)
And on the subject of face/hand wipes - we use Tesco value face wipes as hand wipes when we are on holiday/days out. They are 27p a pack for 25 wipes and are fine. In true MSE style I also use them to clean things from Ann Summers that go buzz buzz IYKWIM  Much cheaper than those ridculously priced wipes that the Ann Summers SAs try and convince you to buy

Is the 24th when you start handing them out, or the start date of the voucher/coupon/voupon/thingy? Or both?!
Do you know the expiry date too?
Thanks

Not enough information......
Also, I don't know what your instruction/care leaflet said - but I find using metholated spirits best - ask at your local chemist for a small bottle.
Back on the boots topic, I have just used my last 2 skinnies - spent ages umming and arring about best/cheapest way to use them, in the end I got the cheapest Time Delay product I could find ( Tinted moisturiser) so only had to pay 99p each.
I agree totally about hyped prices in Boots, but then I think the RRP for most non-Boots beauty stuff is extortionate. I presume this is some sort of Sales trick so that one store or other can always have some fantastic offer or Free Gifts etc.
L'Oreal, Revlon, Olay etc, when would you ever pay full RRP for any of these? Either Tesco or Super drug etc have always got some 30% off reductions going on.
These big companys have sussed that most women love a bargain, so they manufacture one for us by inflating their RRP
We 'save' 30% and think we have a bargain.
Stores make their mark-up - plus you probably bought a few more bits while you were in there.
Manufacturer makes their profit.
p.s - I have also noticed that as soon as one of these Skinnies have finished, Boots immediately have a 25% ( or similar) reduction on the self-same ranges. Or on 342.0 -
Does this start tomorrow? Just checking as i'm hoping to bag some of No7's Hot Cloth cleanser.0
