Hi monkeygirl. Alas, many SAs seem to make up their own rules when it comes to vouchers, and whereas some will try every possible combination of vouchers/coupons etc, others just won't.
You should be able to use these current ones on any No 7 item - the problems should only occur when you try to add a points voucher when buying, say, accessories, if it clearly states it can only be used on, say, skincare.
If an SA says they can't be used on the brushes try nailing a rictus grin on your face
, whilst seething inside , and say "Oh dear, I always get in a muddle about this. Could I please have a word with your manager so that I don't take up any more of your time please
?"
Then point out the T & Cs to the Manager. Good Luck!!

Thanks for your reply. Just used it for Muslin cloth but need to add 16p for Paracetamol. (Thanks to Crazyposhgal)0 -
monkeygirl is there a pharmacy counter at your Boots? Have you tried taking your purchases and your vouchers to the SA there? I frequent several Boots stores across the same area as you I think
, and I've only come across one who scrutinises every coupon you give her. Having said that, I think she's thawing towards me, as I pointed out the TD night serum for £1 with a skinnie to her - she said she was off to get a bottle on her break :rotfl:. There are another couple who check out what combination of vouchers I'm using, and get a bit sarky if I'm getting stuff for free (in Boots logic) but hey, what do I care? They don't refuse them - if the till doesn't give a bad beep, they'll put them through.
I'm rambling, but the point I'm making is, try a different SA at a different counter (ie I hardly ever go near a NO7 SA - they tend to be very voucher-savvy).0 -

I know this has probably been asked before - but here goes. How much do you have to spend to get a voucher - and - can I get a voucher by buying top ups for my phone0

Hi Biggeeangelpie! Some SAs will give you a look that would freeze your bowels, and say that you can't use the voucher on reduced items.
But it's always worth a try! As balletshoes rightly said, the No 7 SAs should be avoided, but Pharmacy, and also Photography SAs will usually try anything for you.
I know the life stories of loads of SAs within the Greater London area, cos I always smile brightly,:) look at their name badges
and say "How are you today Gloria!" (if their name is Gloria. Obviously not if it's, say, Charles cos that could cause offence!) and listen to their tales.
I've also recommended loads of them on the survey slips :T, and made a point of telling them that I've done this - they're much more likely to be "flexible" when doing future transactions.
I notice you're a Bootser In Training - it's a long ol' learning curve but great fun!!

You have to spend at least £5 in one transaction to get a voucher - and yes, you get a voucher when you top up your phone at Boots. I always top up my phone in £5 lots at Boots

Spend more than £5 and you'll get a voucher, and yes, you can use it for mobile phone top ups. Some people didn't get a voucher last time if they topped up a fiver though. I don't know why, just another Boots-ism!!
