Dixons online

Dreadful company

Thanks to Dixons I wasted a day out with the family

I was expecting a delivery of a washing machine today after a slight delay....as per their email confirmation

Did they turn up - NO

Do they care - NO

Will they compensate me for wasted time - Not a chance they say....we will see! I dont like people/companies wasting my time

Their sales and depot dont communicate - sales sent me confirmation of the delivery date, which the depot werent aware of.....or the liars couldnt be bothered to deliver it.

I AM FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT A SORRY EXCUSE FOR A COMPANY

No it will be Thursday....if they dont deliver then....they can stuff their order and i hope, like Comet, they go bust (I havent been into Comet for 4 years after an order went terribly wrong and took 7 months to resolve)

To show their incompetence, the customer services number on the email was incorrect!

I sell on ebay and Amazon and I wouldnt treat my customer slike this!!

WISH I NEVER ORDERED FROM DIXONS NOW!

2 weeks without a washing machine is too long......my local euronics centre deliver in 2 days and they have 100's of orders a day - they would have been about £30 more but id rather pay the extra!

so you aren't happy then ;) lol

It's one of my pet hates, waiting in all day for a delivery that doesn't come so I can understand why you are upset. I learnt a long time ago that sometimes paying a little extra is well worth it if the co has a good reputation.

I hope it gets sorted for you

I wasn't aware of Comet going bust - do you mean Powerhouse?

I hate the way companies like this can't even be bothered to phone to say you won't be receiving something or that there will be a delay. It doesn't make things right but it softens the blow and costs the company a few pence.

Some very good deals on washing machines etc in the Clearance at John Lewis at the moment, if you go into the stores (different to on the website).

yeh i know......i usually buy in the local euronics shop or john lewis as both have good customer service and they deliver promptly.

I only bought from dixons as i used several codes to get over 25% off - 345 to 260 inc delivery/install/take away old machine

what gets me is i have an email which states the delivery day.......i will be cancelling my order tomorrow and buy from euronics or john lewis....dixons can get stuffed

DSG are changing the name of their high street outlets to Currys Digital, and retaining the Dixons name for on-line sales, so be warned, and dont forget that PC World, the Link, and Partmaster are part of the same group.
I've always had good service buying white goods, (mostly Bosch) from Hughes Direct.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

To prove how incompetent Dixons are - I cancelled the order on Monday by phone and email.

They STILL turned up on Thursday. So they wasted a journey from their Depot in Southampton to Reading.....GOOD!

I emailed Dixons and asked them if they enjoyed the wasted time! They probably dont care anyway.....muppets!
