Earlier I upgraded this machine to Windows 7 and now I am transfering all my files back from the downstairs computer to this one. This PC is connected through a powerline adapter which goes to the router then to the PC (xp).
For some reason it is going really really slowly (20-40 KB/s). I can see it's going to take ages to tranafer the 24GB, is this normal and is there anyway to speed it up?
Thanks
P.S I don't have any portable storage apart from a tiny USB stick and I can't get one.
